Position Overview:

The Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for addressing service requests and incidents submitted through various channels, including phone, email, or ticketing platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide initial technical assistance and problem-solving for hardware, software, and network-related challenges.
  • Assist users with account management tasks such as password resets and application support.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all incidents and service requests within the ticketing system.
  • Follow up with clients to confirm resolution of issues and adherence to service standards.
  • Oversee and manage service desk queues, ensuring compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and internal teams regarding ticket status and updates.
  • Install and configure necessary software and hardware components.
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics as required.
  • Support user onboarding and offboarding processes, including account and workstation setup.
  • Identify and analyze recurring issues, proposing enhancements to processes and systems.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Must possess a Matric - Senior Certificate.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Experience with service desk ticketing systems and remote support tools is essential.
  • CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+ certifications are mandatory.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate is required.
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification is necessary.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification is also required.
