Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR professional to join our team in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The successful candidate will play a key role in managing human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, promoting a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies, including maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Performance Management: Assist in the implementation of performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of DRC labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in French and English is required; knowledge of local languages is an asset.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is approximately $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
