Network International - HR Officer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our team in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, encompassing job postings, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies, maintaining accurate employee records.
  • Performance Management: Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems and employee development programs.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and leave management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in the mining or industrial sector.
  • Knowledge of DRC labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluency in French and English is required; knowledge of the local languages is an asset.
