Group Sales Executive

As a key member of the Telebest team, the Group Sales Agent will play a vital role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service to large group clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch customer service throughout the booking process, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Employ sales techniques to secure and process invoices for guests in a timely manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide regular reports to management.
- Quote and set up new group requests in the system, ensuring seamless execution.
- Respond to incoming quotes and emails within a 24-hour turnaround time.
- Manage group bookings from A-Z, including chasing payments, balancing, and completing legal requirements.
- Update groups with changes and additions as needed.
- Manage Charter and Theme cruises.
- Book and manage International Group Bookings.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service background, excellent attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and be self-motivated. Key skills and competencies include:
- Experience: Previous experience in sales, preferably in the travel industry or cruise sector, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with cruise products, destinations, and industry trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients.
- Customer Focus: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to anticipate and fulfill the needs of large group clients.
- Organizational Skills: Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client inquiries, bookings, and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail in creating customized cruise packages and preparing accurate proposals and documentation.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from various departments to achieve sales objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Salesmanship: Strong persuasion and selling skills with the ability to influence potential clients and close deals effectively.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using sales software, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the same or similar role.
