Procurement Assistant

Affinity Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Assistant to support our procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the procurement of goods and services, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage purchase orders.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier communications.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of procurement reports and presentations for management.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A Grade 12/Matric certificate; a qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in procurement or supply chain operations is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with procurement software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
