OBJECTIVE & SIGNIFICANCE FOR THE ORGANIZATION:

To enhance brand and consumer engagement by overseeing a high-traffic, strategically located Brand Flagship store that embodies the adidas brand and product in the most effective manner. To collaborate closely with both Market and Global teams to influence the strategic vision of the Brand Flagship concept within the Market. To guide the Store Management Team in delivering an exceptional consumer experience while upholding high operational and brand standards. To drive store profitability by achieving or surpassing sales and profit objectives. To ensure adherence through the proper implementation of established policies, procedures, initiatives, and directives.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide an outstanding consumer experience tailored to the Brand Flagship by ensuring exceptional execution of global brand and retail operational standards. Cultivate a positive atmosphere in the store and empower the Store Management team to foster an active, authentic, and consumer-focused culture. Grasp the concept and strategic significance of the Brand Flagship store and consider the broader organizational context when directing the store and promoting brand loyalty. Develop and spearhead the execution of a visionary, well-structured business plan for the Brand Flagship. Offer insights and feedback to various departments and global teams to realize the Brand Flagship aspirations. Support and mentor the leadership team and associates to drive sales and meet key performance indicators while managing expenses to enhance profitability and promote brand loyalty. Collaborate with Store Management Teams to recruit, develop, and build a high-performing team. Assume P&L accountability for the Brand Flagship store. Foster a cooperative working relationship with both global and Market organizations. Work with the Line Manager to create clear action plans for the Brand Flagship and strive to meet objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Communicate and provide visibility on product needs and other operational requirements to the Line Manager. Ensure all established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards are consistently implemented and maintained. Guarantee consistent execution of all global programs, initiatives, and strategies within the Brand Flagship. Utilize global and local tools to lead performance management, succession planning, recruitment, hiring, and development activities, resulting in high employee engagement. Promote a high-performance culture in the Brand Flagship by setting clear expectations, holding employees accountable, creating an effective and efficient work environment, and establishing goals that focus the team on key drivers of success. Take full responsibility for training and execution in all areas, including business, operations, sales/customer service, and visual merchandising, while coordinating with the Sales Academy to ensure all employees are trained in Retail Standards. Ensure all team members receive training on Foundational and Seasonal Brand and product knowledge. Ensure timely completion of all recordkeeping associated with applicants, new hires, payroll, performance evaluations, salary reviews, counseling, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Achieve results under various market conditions and overcome barriers to the company's success in compliance with corporate guidelines. Collaborate with Store Managers to identify and develop strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Consumers, Peers, Key Retail Support Functions such as Marketing Activations, VM, Operations, Vendors, and Support Functions.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Strong capability to interpret and utilize financial data for decision-making and influencing outcomes. Ability to employ critical thinking and innovative approaches to problem-solving. Capacity to make recommendations that effectively resolve issues by applying judgment consistent with standards, practices, policies, and procedures. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Proficient in collaboration and influence across various levels and departments. Thrives in ambiguous situations; open to change and acts as an advocate for innovation. Receptive to feedback; maintains composure in high-pressure situations. Passionate about the adidas brand and sports. Proficient with MS applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other software (Internet, POS Systems, etc).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of 5 years of relevant market experience. Leadership experience in a branded organization (creating a brand experience). Proven success in leading a team of 50 or more. Willingness to relocate. Advanced numeracy, literacy, and strong communication skills.
