Role OverviewThe Regional Office Claims Consultant will be responsible for overseeing the claims process, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions while adhering to policy terms and company standards.
This role is a great opportunity to work with a leading South African short-term insurance brokerage focused on tailored solutions and exceptional service.
About the Role- Manage the entire claims process for personal and commercial insurance policies.
- Collect and verify relevant claim documentation.
- Evaluate claims for validity and appropriate settlement amounts.
- Coordinate with assessors and stakeholders to expedite claims processing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Address inquiries and resolve client issues promptly.
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent; relevant insurance certifications (e.g., NQF Level 4, RE5) are a plus.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail in document and data management.
Salary Estimate: R 500,000 - R 700,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary estimate is based on industry standards for similar roles in Cape Town, WC.
