Credit Leadership for Africa's Growth
Absa Group is a leading financial services provider in Africa, and we are seeking an experienced Regional Head: Credit to lead our credit function for a specific region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a credit strategy and framework that aligns with customer needs and revenue generation requirements. Your primary goal will be to manage the credit requirements for identified portfolios, ensuring that our competitive position is protected while maintaining the quality of our asset book.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a credit strategy and framework that aligns with customer needs and revenue generation requirements.
* Ensure that credit strategies across the product life cycle are effectively managed.
* Analyze and interpret detailed reports to explain trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.

About the Role
This role requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in credit risk management, preferably at a senior management level. You should have a deep understanding of the African market and be able to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and leadership abilities.
