At IQVIA, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as a Market Development Specialist. This exciting role will involve driving HCP awareness, advocacy, and recommendation of our client's Consumer Healthcare key power brands.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting in-depth expert detailing sessions with HCPs, presenting clinical data, therapeutic benefits, and unique selling points. Additionally, they will recruit experts to our client's digital channels to enable value-added services through digital communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct Expert Detailing Sessions: Conduct in-depth and informative expert detailing sessions with HCPs to effectively present our client's brands, clinical data, and therapeutic benefits.
  2. Recruit Experts for Digital Channels: Recruit experts to our client's digital channels to enable value-added services through digital communication.
  3. Engage HCPs through Multiple Channels: Utilize a variety of engagement channels, including face-to-face calls, remote calls, Veeva emails, webinars, and online/offline resources, to interact with HCPs and drive meaningful engagement.
  4. Guide HCPs in Resource Access: Guide HCPs in accessing and effectively utilizing available resources for patient communications and actions on the HHP.
  5. Motivate HCPs for Continuous Learning: Motivate HCPs to participate in self-learning medical modules for Continuous Medical Education (CME) to enhance their knowledge about our client's brands.
  6. Deliver Quality Performance: Deliver in-call quality on a consistent basis, measured through field visit assessments, expert performance tracking, VOC surveys as indicators.
  7. Foster Relationships with HCPs: Foster relationships with HCPs in your assigned territory through meaningful interactions and discussions about their needs and preferences.
  8. Distribute Medical Samples: Ensure effective distribution of medical samples to HCPs, facilitating patient trial and potential conversion to purchase.
  9. Achieve Strategic Performance Indicators: Monitor and achieve strategic expert performance indicators (KPIs) such as Average Weekly Recommendations (AWR), Brand Recommended Most Often (BRMO), and Share of Recommendations (SoR) to measure conversion success.
  10. Meet Sales Targets: Meet or exceed territory sales targets contributing to overall company growth and revenue.
  11. Provide Feedback to Stakeholders: Provide feedback to internal stakeholders regarding HCP insights, preferences, competitor intelligence, and market trends.
  12. Support Deepen Engagement Activities: Coordinate and support standalone lunch and learn meetings or conferences to deepen HCP engagement.
  13. Promote Compliance Awareness: Be a consistent ambassador of the expert field team, continuously demonstrating our client's behaviours within SOPs and in compliance.

Qualifications:

  1. Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Additional qualifications or certifications in sales or marketing are advantageous.
  2. Product Knowledge: Thorough understanding of pharmaceutical products, therapeutic areas, and clinical data presented.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to convey complex medical information effectively to HCPs and adapt communication to individual preferences.
  4. Digital Proficiency: Familiarity with digital tools, CRM systems (e.g., Veeva), and online communication platforms.
  5. Sales Experience: Prior experience in pharmaceutical sales or related roles, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
  6. Time Management: Organizational skills to manage multiple engagement channels and activities efficiently.
  7. Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze sales data, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive strategy adjustments.
  8. Compliance Awareness: Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and ethical guidelines in interactions with HCPs.

In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in executing our client's omnichannel engagement strategy, leveraging both human expertise and digital channels to drive engagement, meet sales targets, and achieve conversion KPIs while delivering tailored experiences to HCPs.
