Business Unit / Office Strategy:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Executive Manager to join our team at Insphired. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for aligning our Business Unit strategy with our Division/Office strategy, in conjunction with our Division Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the effective implementation of our Business Unit strategy.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with our Division Head and other Executive Managers to ensure effective project delivery and functional integration of the Company.

Financial Management of Business Unit:

  • Support our Division Head with Business Development at a local level.
  • Prepare a tendering strategy and pricing in accordance with our Tendering Process.
  • Prepare our Business Unit budget in consultation with our Division Head.
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports on Project management and profitability of our Business Unit to our Division Head.
  • Be responsible for the profitability of our Business Unit.

Human Resources Management and Administration at BU Level:

  • Ensure the optimal use of skills and expertise available in our Business Unit.
  • Ensure training and mentoring of our Business Unit staff.
  • Handle disciplinary matters.
  • Manage Health and Safety.
  • Coordinate Timesheets.
  • Monitor staff utilization.
  • Organize staff meetings.
  • Provide staff training and mentoring.
  • Process staff expense claims.

Management of local BU Projects (from start to finish):

  • Be responsible for tender preparation and costing.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of local projects from acquisition and inception through design and documentation phases to implementation and close-out.
  • Manage construction project management for local projects.

Project Quality Management:

  • Ensure adherence to our Quality Management System and Project Management Online Guide on every project.
  • Inform our Division Head immediately of any client complaints.
  • Deal with client complaints promptly, effectively, and professionally.
  • Comply with and manage direct reports' compliance with our Quality Management System (ISO9001:2015), Business Management System (BMS), and Project Management Online Guide (PMOG).

Technical Work:

  • Keep our Division Head informed of all project activities.
  • Agree on a schedule of meetings which our Division Head should attend.
  • Keep our Division Head informed by providing copies of minutes attended and discuss 'issues' as they arise.

General:

  • Maintain regular and continued professional development through on-the-job training, in-house courses, seminars, or outsourced specialist training as required and as agreed with our Division Head.
