Job Overview:

E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD is seeking an experienced Aluminum Dispatching Manager to oversee the timely and accurate delivery of aluminum products to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the aluminum dispatching department, ensuring seamless coordination with production and sales teams.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of orders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
  • Develop and implement efficient dispatching processes and procedures, streamlining operations and reducing costs.
  • Ensure all shipments are properly packaged and labeled for safe transport, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with transportation providers to negotiate rates and ensure timely delivery, building strong relationships and optimizing logistics.
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process, providing timely solutions and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of all dispatching activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Train and supervise dispatching staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement, driving continuous growth and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments, applying knowledge to continuously improve dispatching processes and procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a dispatching or logistics role, preferably in the aluminum industry.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
