**About the Role**

Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd T/A MPC Recruitment Group EC is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance and Legal to join their team. This is a pivotal executive role responsible for ensuring comprehensive regulatory compliance and legal oversight across the organization.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement effective compliance processes and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in managing legal matters, including contract review and negotiation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Lead and manage teams to achieve compliance objectives and improve overall organizational performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure the organization remains compliant.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and industry associations.

**Requirements**

  • BProc or LLB degree or BCom Law.
  • Compliance Practitioner or Compliance Professional certification.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in a Compliance and Legal function.
  • Experience in a financial services industry is preferred.
  • Strong technical skills and leadership ability.
  • Ability to provide strategic direction and innovative solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Sound understanding of and interpretation of legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
