Business Operations Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at Rakkgalakane. As a key member of our management staff, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all day-to-day office operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all day-to-day office operations, ensuring seamless execution and optimal efficiency.
  • Maintain and update office equipment, ensuring it remains in good working order and is utilized effectively.
  • Manage office finances, including budgeting, invoicing, and expense reports, to ensure accurate tracking and timely completion.
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies, ensuring a consistent and adequate stock level.
  • Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents, providing high-quality support and expertise.
  • Provide administrative and secretarial support, responding to inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Manage external suppliers related to office management, fostering strong relationships and driving cost-effectiveness.
  • Compile agendas, registers, and minute-taking at meetings for accurate record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • A 3-year qualification in Office Management or a related field.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a legal environment is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is required, with isiXhosa fluency being desirable.
Salary Range:

R200,000 - R250,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
