Assistant Administrative Officer

About the Role

The Assistant Administrative Officer will provide administrative support to various departments, including procurement, debtors, customer services, and SHERQ functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing switchboards, filling and document control, and assisting with procurement.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage switchboard and reception duties, ensuring a professional first impression for clients and visitors.

  2. Ensure accurate and timely completion of filling and document control tasks.

  3. Assist in handling procurement, coordinating with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations.

  4. Provide administrative support to procurement, debtors, customer services, commercial, engineering, production, distribution, and SHERQ functions.

  5. Perform other administrative duties as required by management.

Requirements

  1. Matric with post-qualification in Office Administration or related field.

  2. Minimum 3-5 years' experience in office administration.

  3. Strong organizational and administrative skills, with attention to detail.

  4. Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.

  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on building strong customer relationships.

  6. Valid unendorsed driver's license and own transport.

  7. Computer literate and proficient in MS Office suite.
