Position Overview

As an IT Infrastructure Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing business profitability through strategic cost management and innovative technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Steering financial performance by establishing and managing budgetary goals while ensuring effective cost control across various functional areas to boost operational efficiency.
  • Promoting and overseeing the judicious use of systems and facilities to maximize resource utilization.
  • Fostering a service-oriented IT culture that nurtures strong relationships, encourages innovation, and empowers teams to deliver outstanding client service.
  • Building and maintaining constructive working relationships with diverse stakeholders, including end-users, subject matter experts, project managers, and senior leadership by providing valuable insights into business requirements.
  • Operationally overseeing and monitoring a variety of platforms, including mid-range systems, personal computers, networks, helpdesk services, and enterprise management solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with IT development protocols and governance standards, including legislative and audit requirements.
  • Managing hardware and software contracts and service level agreements to ensure all metrics are consistently met.
  • Supporting production environments and automation initiatives for technical and development support teams.
  • Assisting in incident and problem management as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree or diploma in IT or a related field.
  • Significant experience in developing and optimizing IT processes to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
  • Proficient in system and log monitoring using leading infrastructure monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Docker containerization.
  • Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and leading technical discussions.
  • Experience conducting IT risk assessments and contributing to disaster recovery planning.
  • Collaborative experience in developing new systems and ensuring seamless integration with business objectives.
  • Experience managing cybersecurity threats within IT infrastructure and application environments.
