Luxury Homeware Sales Specialist

A reputable supplier of high-quality fabrics, rugs, wallpaper, and homeware is seeking a Sales Consultant for its new retail store in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Establish long-lasting relationships with customers to drive sales and loyalty.
- Successfully sell luxury homeware products and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Maintain the retail showroom's standards and operations.
- Effectively manage orders of additional products for the showroom.
- Support external sales consultants in achieving sales goals.
- Assist with the payment process to ensure seamless customer transactions.
Requirements:
- National senior certificate or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a retail environment, preferably with a luxury brand.
- Knowledge of homeware is advantageous, but not essential.
- Proven experience in conducting and managing regular stock takes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer service-focused and oriented.
- Highly sales-driven and result-oriented.
- Professional and well-presented at all times.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- General business acumen and understanding of sales strategies.
Working Hours: You will be required to work a 45-hour week, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch per day, rostered following the specific store trading times.
