About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Administrative Controller to join our team at Cleary Park in Port Elizabeth.

Job Summary

This position will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks and activities associated with the maintenance of store operations records and registers. The successful candidate will also attend to general office applications, ensuring that routine procedural information is handled efficiently.

Main Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: Responsible for banking on a daily basis, cash ups, and drop safe security measures.
  • Administration: Control standard administration procedures in the store, including filing, cash control, petty cash, stock control, personnel, and internal request files.
  • Staff Management: Manage the cash desk area and perform any reasonable duties delegated by management.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in the office and cash desk area.
  • Shop Floor Function: Provide excellent customer service and ensure housekeeping standards are met.
Requirements
  • Matric/Grade 12 (not negotiable)
  • NQF 5 Certificate in Retail/Business Administration (advantageous)
  • Valid Driver's License (not negotiable)
  • 2-5 years' experience in Sales/Retail/Operations environment either as an Assistant Manager or Manager (Clothing retail advantageous)
  • Computer Literate on Word and Excel
