New Business Originator Role

The Bright City Talent New Business Originator will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within a niche commercial financial services firm. Reporting to the Head of New Business, the successful candidate will establish relationships with new clients, retain existing ones, and promote financial products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Identify potential clients and establish relationships to understand their financial needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and development.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to maintain relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless client experience.

Requirements:

  • Commercial qualification (finance, marketing, business management or similar will be advantageous).
  • Experience in business development in the commercial finance industry will be beneficial.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Driver's license as the role requires visiting clients.
