Job Title: Sportsbook Agent

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Sportsbook Agent to join our team at Initiate International. As a Sportsbook Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, handling inquiries, placing bets, and sharing the latest promotions.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Handling inbound and outbound calls efficiently, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Assisting customers with placing bets and providing information on betting markets.
  • Promoting and upselling new offers, events, and betting opportunities to existing customers.
  • Ensuring adherence to all company policies and Responsible Gambling guidelines.
  • Maintaining accurate logs of customer interactions and unresolved queries.
  • Identifying opportunities to introduce other betting services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Call Centre environment.
  • Fluency in English and one additional South African language.
  • No criminal record and availability to start immediately.
  • Computer literacy with solid telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
