Job Description

Jobs2day is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development and Growth Professional to join our team in Johannesburg. This role will be responsible for expanding our client base, driving sales growth, and nurturing strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth Initiatives: Identify, analyze, and capitalize on opportunities for new customer acquisitions and growth within existing customers through product and application recommendations.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify market share availability in the applicable territory.
  • Customer Identification: Identify prospective customers and decision-makers in prospect accounts, assessing the viability of progressing.
  • Sales Targets: Continuously focus on sales growth execution and ensure achievement of new business sales targets.
Customer Service and Relationship Management
  • Existing Business Sales: Ensure achievement of existing business sales targets.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain existing client relationships through planned visits and implementation of formal performance review structures and methodology.
Product and Technical Duties
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain updated knowledge and technical data for full product range, including Product Safety & applications.
  • Recommendations: Make relevant product and application recommendations to customers, with the goal of expanding the number of products sold to each existing customer.
Competencies
  • Commercial Effectiveness: Ability to drive sales growth and revenue.
  • Persuasiveness: Strong negotiation and influence skills.
  • Results Oriented: Achieve sales targets and grow the client base.
Package Offered

The salary for this position is estimated at R750,000 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
