Commercial Insurance Expert

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality direct sales service, identifying and executing innovative methods to build their own insurance portfolio, and managing and driving portfolio profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality direct sales service to new and existing clients, resulting in the production of business from new and existing sources.
- Identify and execute on innovative methods to build own insurance portfolio, including prospecting for new clients through networking, cold-calling, and door-to-door canvassing.
- Manage and drive portfolio profitability and growth by ensuring that on-going service and support provided to clients is delivered on time and improves the quality of the business underwritten.
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations for clients and provide solutions to their needs by selling non-life products aligned to their requirements.
- Continuously build client base to secure future portfolio growth and identify and action on cross and up-selling opportunities across all products.
- Sell according to agreed targets for the day, week, and month, and maintain minimum agreed quote volumes, quote to sales ratio, and NTU and Cancellation ratio.
- Perform after-sales service tasks according to allocated portfolio of customers, monitor and resolve escalated client queries and complaints timeously, and manage relationships with clients to ensure Service Level Agreement standards are met or exceeded in all engagements.
- Retain existing business, including renewal discussions in line with business process and FAIS Code of Conduct, and create collaborative relationships with other departments to determine process improvements designed to enhance the customer experience and create easy, value peace of mind.
- Manage time and workloads to ensure that deadlines and targets are met, and contribute to a service culture that builds rewarding relationships, proposes innovations, and allows others to provide exceptional service.
- Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate.
- FAIS Compliant in Non-life Commercial product category.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in non-life insurance.
