Administrative Coordinator

At Oliver Wyman, we're seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our IMEA team in South Africa. This role will be based out of our Johannesburg office and will provide critical support to our strategy consultants.
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills, who can effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the financial services or management consultancy sector.
The successful candidate will provide daily administration support, including booking business travel, organizing video conferences, processing expense reports, and managing client contact data. They will also be responsible for coordinating team logistics, managing projects, and tracking issues. Additionally, they will provide coverage support to 3-4 Principal/Partner level consultants and collaborate with other assistants to ensure seamless execution of duties.
This is a full-time position, working hours are from 09:00 – 18:00, with additional hours as needed. We offer a competitive salary of R650,000 per annum, plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Administration:
- Booking business travel
- Organizing video conferences
- Processing expense reports and timesheets
- Client contact data entry and updates into CRM
- Collaborating with other assistants
- Team Support:
- Providing coverage for EAs who are out of the office
- Providing short-term coverage for Principals/Partners
- Daily Other Project Support:
- Managing calendars and meeting arrangements
- Coordinating team logistics and weekly payments to vendors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least two years' experience in a similar role
- Experience in financial services, management consultancy, or professional services environment preferred
- Strong administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
