We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Automation Lead to join our team. As a Strategic Automation Lead, you will play a critical role in driving the automation of credit systems and processes to improve efficiencies and customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Managing and driving the implementation of initiatives across the credit lifecycle, including origination decision engines, payment systems and mechanisms, rules for account management, and escalation rules.

  2. Documenting decision engines used for origination and account management.

  3. Driving optimisation of credit systems.

  4. Effectively managing changes to credit rules impacting origination and existing accounts.

  5. Translating strategic changes into IT requirements.

  6. Managing stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of required inputs.

  7. Establishing an effective framework for testing changes before implementation.

  8. Driving change management to inform key stakeholders of changes and implications.

  9. Onboarding and managing relationships with external vendors.

  10. Ensuring alignment of key stakeholders throughout projects.

  11. Prioritising credit projects within the wider organisation.

  12. Assisting in responding to queries regarding credit outcomes.

  13. Ensuring data availability to track system change outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate qualification in computer science, engineering, maths or related field.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years working in a retail credit environment, with a focus on implementing strategic and regulatory projects.
