Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Establish a sales plan with the management team, participate in the development of modification products, and lead proposal efforts including completing project scoping and assessments.
- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Direct sales calls and sales development in assigned regions, identify market potential, and provide feedback to the management team.
- Drive Sales Growth: Active sales of available, application-specific modifications, regular contact with customers, and develop strategies for improved market penetration.
- Monitor and Evaluate Competition: Monitor and evaluate the activities, products, and pricing of the competition, and advise fleet customers and Ford distributors concerning QVM product availability.
- Deliver Sales Presentations: Deliver sales presentations to key clients, grow and maintain relationships, and negotiate and close deals.
- Contribute to Sales-Oriented Website: Contribute to ensure an excellent sales-oriented website is maintained, and prepare monthly sales reports and feedback for the management team.
- Financial Responsibilities: Provide input contributing to the contents of the business plan, budget, and objectives, and ensure commercially attractive pricing models with acceptable profit margins.
Requirements:
- Strong Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, self-motivation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of dealership operations, modified vehicle sector, and African markets.
- Travel Requirements: Regular local travel visiting customers and end-users all over South Africa, and occasional overseas travel as required.
