Kings Square Hardware Trading is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations in the crown mines area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and executing all processes from ordering to dispatch, ensuring efficient customer service and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the entire store operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities;
  2. Manage and train a team of retail staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment;
  3. Develop and implement effective strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer experience;
  4. Ensure accurate stock management, including ordering, receiving, and inventory control;
  5. Maintain a clean and safe store environment, adhering to company standards and regulations;
  6. Monitor and analyze sales data, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement;
  7. Collaborate with the management team to achieve business objectives and goals;
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and competitor activity.

Requirements:

  1. Grade 12 / Matric qualification;
  2. Diploma in business management or related field;
  3. 5-15 years of experience in retail management, preferably in the hardware and building material industry;
  4. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills;
  5. Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines;
  6. Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
  7. Computer literate and proficient in retail management software;
  8. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation;
  9. South African citizen with a clear credit and criminal record;
  10. Sober habits and reliable references.

  8. Ability to work under pressure, remaining calm and composed in challenging situations.
