The Store Coordinator role at Signa Opportunity is a high-level position that requires a strong understanding of store operations and management. Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Scheduling: Maintain accurate and up-to-date staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
  • Employee Supervision: Supervise and mentor employees to ensure they are meeting performance expectations and providing excellent customer service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of store inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking of merchandise.
  • Sales and Profit Tracking: Monitor sales and profit margins to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase revenue.
  • Store Goals and Objectives: Set and achieve store-wide goals and objectives, ensuring that all team members are working towards a common goal.
  • Staff Development: Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: Matriculation certificate.
  • Age and Eligibility: Must be a South African unemployed youth aged between 18 and 34.
  • YES Program: Must not have participated in the YES Program before.
  • Leadership Skills: Proactive in-store planning skills and self-motivated leadership abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Strong sales abilities and customer service skills.
  • Organization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to operate basic business software programs.
