Transformation and Compliance Specialist

At TTEC, we're committed to making a positive impact on our staff and the communities we operate in. As the Head of BBBEE and Transformation, you will play a key role in setting the strategic direction for all elements of BBBEE compliance and driving our impact practice with identified partners.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for taking the lead in all BBBEE and associated transformation and impact activities in South Africa. Your primary focus will be to ensure that the Company complies with all legislative requirements and develops and maintains a robust transformation strategy for the business.

The role requires you to monitor the implementation of various BBBEE initiatives in areas such as ownership, management control, employment equity (EE), skills development, and preferential procurement (PP). You will also be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the EE plan.

The activities mentioned above must be aligned with the stated impact practice objectives to ensure maximum benefit and minimal duplication of efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Local Partnership Development:
    • Identify, build, and nurture strategic partnerships with local organizations, nonprofits, educational institutions, and government agencies to further the BBBEE and Impact agendas.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote TTEC's BBBEE and impact initiatives and foster a sense of shared purpose.
  • Compliance:
    • E nsure Legislative and internal compliance with the BBBEE Act and Codes, including the BEE Scorecard.
    • Monitor transformation and BBBEE legislative changes and updates, providing feedback to local and regional teams on adjustments needed.
  • Adaptation of Global Impact Model and BBBEE Transformation Policy:
    • Tailor TTEC's global impact framework to the unique needs and challenges of the EMEA context, ensuring alignment with local regulations and cultural considerations.
  • Measurement and Reporting:
    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive impact measurement system to track and report on the effectiveness of TTEC's impact programs.
  • Change Management:
    • Drive change management efforts within the organization to foster a culture of social responsibility and sustainability.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or diploma (NQF level 7 – Management Development Programme).
  • At least 7 years of experience in a Transformation role, with a minimum of 2 years at management/EXCO level.
  • Extensive experience with the BEE Scorecard requirement.
  • Familiarity with BBBEE Codes of Good Practice and amendments, Employment Equity Act, BEE Scorecard and verification process, and Preferential Procurement Policy Act.
Salary Range:

R1,200,000 - R1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
