**Job Advert**:
Ackermans has an exciting fixed-term contract for a Fund Administrator to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The position is based at our Support Centre in Kuils River and reports directly to the HR Manager. The Fund Administrator will be responsible for the administration of the Company’s Death Claims and dealing with death claim queries. This role requires an individual with strong administrative and communication skills.

**Qualifications**:
Essential:

- Grade 12

Preferred:

- National Diploma in HR/Payroll/Business Admin

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
KNOWLEDGE:

- Knowledge of the S37c Death Claims process Legislation on Workmens compensation

SKILLS:

- Accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Computer Skills - Excel
- Able to deal with large volumes of work
- Ability to prioritise
- Ability to work independently

EXPERIENCE:
Essential:

- 2 years administration experience with exposure to : Retirement & Provident Fund admin / Payroll admin / HR Admin / Processing Death Claims

**Key Responsibilities**:
Death claims
- Contact beneficiaries for outstanding information
- 2Document discussions with beneficiaries
- Follow up with Alexander Forbes and Sanlam re outstanding documents
- Liaise with HR to obtain information
- Keep an audit log of all statuses of claims
- Where no contact details are on file, contact store and/or data factory

Adhoc Team Assistance
- Withdrawal claims
- Filling
- Mailing documents to stores
- Explaining fund processes as per SOP to Stores
