Job Purpose
**We are looking for a skilled talent specialist who will form part of strategically identifying, attracting, developing, and retaining highly skilled and valuable employees in our organization. The talent specialist will be involved in various activities—recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, succession planning, and more—to ensure we have the talent we need to achieve our goals and remain competitive.**:

**Talent Acquisition**:
- Liaising with internal departments to determine recruitment needs.
- Determining selection criteria, hiring profiles, and job requirements for vacant positions.
- Managing hiring processes using the electronic Applicant Tracking System.
- Preparing hiring forecasts as part of the company's strategic planning.
- Developing hiring strategies and procedures in line with industry trends, as well as keeping informed of advancements in the field.
- This will constitute 60% of the employees role.
**Talent Management**:
- Responsible for implementing strategies, policies, and programs that align with business objectives and support talent retention, and development.
- Play a critical role in the employee performance management process, which includes setting goals, performing evaluations, providing individual feedback, and coaching employees as needed.
- Prioritize Diversity and Inclusion
- Professionals in talent management must develop and implement diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
- Analyze talent data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement and map the gaps identified to the talent acquisition strategy.
- Regularly partner with People business partners and leaders to drive talent initiatives supporting their business strategy.
- This will form 30% of the employees role.

- Drive and participate in the Employer branding institutions such as Top Employer.

**Required capabilities**

- Strategic thinking, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
- Proficiency in relationship building, networking, persuasion and influential skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to travel extensively
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Industrial/Org Psychology, or similar.
- At least 3 years relevant experience.
- Exposure in working in a matrix organisation.
- Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants such as LinkedIn.
- Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage with all employees from direct workers to executive leaders.
