**Billing Administrative Temp **-** Cape Town
**Contract based **(month to month) Pay class 6
Our client is looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to provide administrative support based in Cape Town.
**Key performance Responsibilities**:
- Creating and sending ethics fee invoices to researchers and sponsors.
- Tracking payment of ethics fees.
- Generating invoices, completing the SD006 form and sending to Finance Department for processing
- Preparing journal forms if payment is internal from one fund to another and sending to Finance Department
- Assisting researchers, debtors and Finance Department with any queries relating to ethics fee billing.
- Prepare periodic financial reports based on payments received.
- Identify and report on financial irregularities and potential problems to support management of acute challenges and improve systems.
- Provide tracking updates (e.g. excel spreadsheets) on invoicing of new study amendments and annuals.
- Maintain filing of financial records electronically and hard copy.
- Manage other financial matters within the Office as requested by Line Manager (for example operational budget)
- Resolve billing errors/queries professionally
- Liaise with the Finance Department to ensure that invoices are dispatched and paid on time.
- Administer outstanding and unpaid ethics fee debt and the collection thereof
- Assist with general office administrative tasks as assigned e.g., budget preparation and financial reports.
**Minimum requirements**:
- Grade 12
- 3-year experience
- Computer skills
