**Role Purpose/Business Unit**:
Role reports to EHOD Reward & Benefits and is responsible and accountable for, amongst others, the following benefits within Vodacom South Africa:

- Retirement Funding
- Risk benefits
- Health Care
- Disability Benefits
- Funeral Plans
- Employee Value Proposition
- Any other Benefits

This includes the delivery, maintenance and where applicable, the administration of these benefits.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Communication to all stakeholders regarding these benefits, including employees, managers and Human Resources Business Partners. This includes taking ownership of the various Benefit Platforms
- The coordination of the benefit representative forums (e.g. Trustee Meetings / Management Committee / Medical Aid Forum)Conduct Research i.e. Retirement & Health Care practices and trends, Benefit design, etc
- Review the benefits being offered by Vodacom relative to market best practice and advise/recommend accordingly.
- Evaluate and manage the services provided to Vodacom by the relevant service providers
- Ensure that the most efficient and effective administration processes regarding benefits are in place.
- Ensure that relevant stakeholders are adequately trained regarding benefit details and procedures
- Design and implement a communication and capacity building plan to ensure that all employees and line managers are aware and understand the benefits available to them.
- Provide input towards policy design and implementation.
- Matric
- A formal qualification / Benefit related certification is essential
- This could also be a related qualification with a compensation background e.g. Finance - thus not just HR related qualification Experience
- 5 - 8 years sound experience in benefit management
