**Purpose of the post**:
To assist with the management of employee relations, dispute resolution, discipline management and compliance with labour laws and company policies. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure a harmonious working environment, resolve employee grievances, and maintain positive relationships between the Employer and its workforce.

**Duties**
- Facilitate labour related programmes, collective bargaining, grievance resolution and dispute management processes promptly within the principles of the Labour Relations Act 66 of 1995 as well as the Collective Agreement.
- Act as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace-related concerns, complaints, and grievances.
- Assist in investigating and resolving employee disputes within set time frames and within the prescripts of the law.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture that fosters effective communication and employee engagement.
- Assist the HR Manager with the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Provide support in terms of preparation during dispute’s proceedings. This entails preparation of charge sheets, notifications of disciplinary proceedings to employees, preparation of disciplinary bundles, taking minutes during disciplinary hearings, compilation of reports, etc.
- Coordinate meetings, training/information sessions/ workshops to create awareness and enhance understanding of employee relations policy and procedure and ensure that meeting packs are distributed.

**Requirements**:

- Higher National Diploma in Labour Relations/ Law (NQF level 5). A Degree in Law/Labour Relations is an added advantage (NQF Level 6).
- 3-5 years’ experience within labour relations environment. Experience in Mining or Construction field is an added advantage.
- Valid Drivers' License.
