Train, direct the work of, resolving issues/problems, and coach and counsel the front desk team members.
- Resolving guests’ issues, complaints, and problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships and liaise with all other departments especially Housekeeping and reservations etc.
- Cross check all billing instructions are correctly updated.
- Controls cash transactions at front desk and maintains complete responsibility for Banking and Float
- Ensure safety by following guest check in and security procedures and reporting suspicious activity to manager or MOD.
- Participate in hotel committees and task force assignments.
- Knows the type of rooms available as well as their location and layout.
- Knows the selling status, rates.
- Understanding the hotels policy for guaranteed reservations and no-show policies
- Processes cancellation and modifications and promptly relays this to Front Office (in absence of Reservations Manager)
- Help develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts.
- Handles daily correspondence and responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed.
- Performs other duties and tasks assigned, requested, and deemed necessary by management.
- Assist all departments in servicing guests during high volume periods.
- Takes responsibility in the absence of Reservations Manager
- As a supervisor you are to be a role model, sharing your expertise and continually inspiring the front office team.

Pay: From R10 000,00 per month
