**Role Overview**:
As the first employee and a pivotal member of our startup, the Director of Product Development and Operations will play a crucial role in shaping the foundation and future of our brand. This role demands a dynamic, highly motivated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of building our product line and operational framework from the ground up. Within 4-6 months, your objective will be to take us from concept to shipping our first product to customers, establishing a strong online presence, and laying the groundwork for a scalable, efficient operation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development**:

- Lead the research, formulation, and development of our supplement range, ensuring products meet the specific health needs of our target demographic.
- Identify and establish relationships with reputable suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring quality control and compliance with industry standards.
- Oversee the design and packaging process to ensure our products resonate with our brand identity and appeal to our target market.
- **Brand Building and Social Media**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to build brand awareness, engage with our target audience, and foster a community of loyal customers.
- Create compelling content that educates, inspires, and connects with women, highlighting the benefits of our supplements and the values of our brand.
- **Operations and Tech Stack Setup**:

- Design and implement the operational framework for our D2C business, including order fulfillment, customer service, and inventory management.
- Select and set up the necessary tech stack to support e-commerce operations, including website development, e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, and analytical tools.
- **Market Entry and Growth**:

- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy that ensures a successful product launch and sustainable growth.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve our product offerings and customer experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in product development, preferably in the supplement or health & wellness industry.
- Strong background in operations, with experience setting up and scaling D2C or e-commerce businesses.
- Expertise in social media strategy and digital marketing, with a track record of building brands and engaging communities online.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to execution.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on results and customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
