Are you a persistent sales professional who enjoys creating demand generation and onboarding new customers? Would you like to have E2E responsibility for a portfolio of clients in Southern Africa ? The Sensient South Africa sales team is expanding and we are looking to hire an In-house Sales Account Manager who would like to be part of our success story

Your mission will be to maximize sales volumes and gross margin for all product lines with our South African business. This includes enhancing the Sensient brand with all existing and potential customers. You will create demand through a proactive and dedicated approach: mainly via direct telephone/online contact with customers and occasional field visits to key accounts. The position is responsible for customers in Southern Africa, and is based in Johannesburg.

This secures a solid foundation to understand the organization and its products, technologies, systems, supporting functions and culture, which enhances your ability to quickly become productive and integrate into the Sensient organization. This, combined with ideally a college degree and your experience in B2B sales, will be critical to make an impact in the business.

Then, you will focus on bringing new business opportunities with existing and potential customers for our Southern Africa business. To continuously help you to be successful in this position, we support you in working cross-functionally with our R&D, Commercial, Operational and Service teams, which allows you to collaborate and communicate effectively inside and outside the organization.

You will play a key role in managing accounts, presenting our products, providing an excellent customer service, participating in the sales process from concept to delivery, and growing our brand presence in this region. With your excellent organization and project management skills, customer service and results orientation, you will be able to grow our sales revenues and build successful, long-term client relationships.
