IT Service Desk Specialist

Our client, a well-established fintech company, who is at the forefront of providing world class payment aggregation and secure payment solutions, is looking for IT Service Desk Specialist to join their growing team in Stellenbosch.
**Key Performance Areas will include**:
- Issue resolution on behalf of Networks and Billers
- Report generation
- Ad Hoc report generation through own designed and modified SQL scripts
- Monitoring of transaction irregularities in the value chain from Payment Network to Biller
- Weekend IT Support work
**Essential minimum qualifications, skills, and experience**:
- IT related qualification;
- Previous experience in an IT support field, preferably in the financial services or fintech industry specifically payments industry);
- Knowledge of SQL language code and databases will be advantageous;
- Understanding of the Project Development Lifecycle;
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written);
- Own transport and valid driver’s license;
- Appropriate data connectivity to handle queries remotely from home (for after hours support).
