KHANYISILE AFRISOLAR is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer with a strong background in Electrical Installations in the built environment

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Must have experience in the electrical / construction industry.
- Degree/Higher National Diploma in the Electrical Engineering Field
- ECSA Registration certificate would be advantageous
- At least 5 years' experience as a Project Manager or similar position.
- Experience in preparation of tenders.
- LV, MV experience.
- Proven track record of managing sites of 20+ employees of various levels.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience in project management and commercial aspects within an electrical contracting sector, specifically managing bidding, tender compilation, electrical contract management and having a solid understanding of business and project cashflow.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse team of staff to ensure multiple projects meet deadlines, quality of workmanship according to SLA's, as well as playing a key role in client relationship management and in addressing any performance issues.
- Solid experience in NEC and JCBB contractual management, as well as negotiating favourable terms, rates and conditions, aligning departments with contractual terms.
- Proficiency in managing budgets, as well as mitigating risk, building relationships with suppliers, ensuring best prices and quality materials and taking ownership of all staff related matters.

**Key Duties**:

- Perform specific electrical activities supporting the immediate superior during major and minor installations, maintenance and repair works.
- Communicating and guiding personnel on specific sequences on site and conducting inspections of electrical installations on various sites as per client requirements.
- Preparation of program of works, methodology and checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings and preparing close out reports.
- Perform activities associated with the construction and installations of medium/low voltage electrical networks, electrical reticulation, lighting systems and earthing and lighting protection.
- Co-ordinates and controls tasks/activities with controlling personnel performance, productivity and discipline.
- Liaise with clients and report on progress to relevant stakeholders
- Procurement of material for each phase of the project
- Monitor costs and project progress
- Conduct quality and safety inspections
- Maintaining quality control checks
- Day to day problem solving and motivating the workforce
- A comprehensive CV;

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

**Salary**: R18,000.00 - R35,000.00 per month
