Aluminium Windows Factory Manager

Job Description:
As the Factory Manager for our Aluminium Windows and Doors Manufacturing facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the production process operates efficiently, meeting the highest standards of quality. Your leadership and expertise will contribute to the overall success of the company and the satisfaction of our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management: Ensure that all manufacturing processes adhere to the strictest quality standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, making certain that every aluminium window and door leaving the factory meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Production Oversight: Oversee the entire production process, from material intake to the final product. Monitor production schedules, optimize workflows, and ensure timely delivery of orders to meet customer demands.

Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of skilled production staff. Provide guidance, training, and feedback to enhance their productivity and work quality.

Health and Safety Compliance: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all employees. Enforce safety guidelines, conduct regular safety training, and maintain a safe work environment throughout the factory.

Resource Management: Efficiently manage factory resources, including raw materials, machinery, and manpower, to achieve maximum productivity and minimize waste.

Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve manufacturing processes, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining the highest level of quality.

Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that all machinery and equipment are properly maintained, minimizing downtime and production interruptions.

Budget and Cost Control: Work closely with the management team to develop and manage the factory budget effectively. Implement strategies to control costs without compromising on product quality.

Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, codes, and legal requirements, promoting ethical practices and environmental responsibility.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Factory Manager or Production Manager in the aluminium windows and doors manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes related to aluminium windows and doors.
- Strong understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and their implementation in a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in resource allocation and budget management.
- Analytical mindset with an emphasis on continuous improvement and optimization.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From R12,500.00 per month

- Benoni, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
