**Duties and Responsibilities**:
**Logistics management**:

- Manage the logistics of the companies’ shipments.
- Liaise with freighting agents to obtain freighting quotations (research rates, routings, or modes of transport for shipment of products.)
- Prepare, coordinate & verify all freighting documentation.
- Provide freighting updates to exporters, consignees, or insurers.
- Ensure proper product quality control prior to shipping. Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare customer quotations and invoices.
- Preparing & freighting samples for customers.
- Keep abreast of regulations affecting the international movement of cargo including occupational health and safety within the transport industry.

**Administration**:

- General office administration (document management, data capturing, record keeping)
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer customers to the proper channels.
- Assist with stock management & data capturing.
- Assist with company certifications and memberships including audits.
- Document business processes and policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Assist with compilation of technical company & product documents.
- Assist with marketing and compilation of marketing material.
- Take meeting minutes.
- Book and co-ordinate travel arrangements for company Directors and GM including flights, visas, accommodation etc.
- Assist with preparation and coordination of company events/conferences.
- Processing of Debtors and Creditors

**Desired Experience and Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 with Math's
- Competent in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Understanding the basics of logistics would be advantageous.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to commute.
- No onsite accommodation available.
