**Climate Change Manager**

**Position Overview**: The Climate Change Manager will be responsible for strategic management, coordination of climate-related projects, and the implementation of innovative solutions to address climate change challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Climate Change**
- Developing Climate Change services.
- Conduct Climate Change risk and greenhouse gas assessments.
- Developing climate risk management and mitigation strategies, including Science based targets and TCFD aligned scenario analysis.
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including proposals.
- Advising our clients and finding solutions for their climate change related challenges.
- Continuously improve and develop the services offered within the department.
- Identifying and tracking Climate Change trends, best practices, frameworks and standards and communicating those relevant to internal and external stakeholders and using information to develop new services and client offering.
- Forming and maintaining a network of relationships to support climate change efforts
- Networking and growing strong relationships with clients and other partners in the market.
- Carry out field work under strenuous conditions.

**Team Management**
- Contribute to the performance management and probation processes for the team.
- Report on team’s performance at various levels. Assist with workload and resource management for the team.
- Ensure that the team achieves revenue targets.
- Provide mentorship to and development of the team.
- Facilitate the appropriate onboarding process for all new employees.
- Business Development and Marketing
- Identifying business opportunities and ensure that a client centric approach is maintained at all times.
- Identify leads and organise, plan and track proposals in response.
- Co-ordinate and submit proposals.

**Experience and Skills**:

- Five or more years’ experience in the relevant field, preferably within the consulting environment would be beneficial.
- Five to Seven years relevant experience in Climate Change or Sustainability advisory or similar.
- Carbon management and strategy experience.
- Experience undertaking GHG accounting including GHG Protocol and Carbon Reporting.
- Scope 1, 2 & 3 GHG Accounting and Reporting.
- Experience of target setting approaches and best practice, including development and lodging of Science-based targets initiatives.
- Understanding of net-zero approaches for companies, including approach to residual emissions and offsetting.
- Experience with climate change modelling.
- Experience undertaking or implementing climate scenario analysis, and business response to outputs.
- Experience developing and implementing carbon/ energy reduction programmes.
- Experience with concepts such as natural capital and net-biodiversity
- Working familiarity with the recommendations of TCFD including supporting organisations in their response.
- Adaptation planning (e.g., Adaptation Reporting Power (ARP), UK Climate Change Risk Assessment (CCRA), ISO14090 series, UKCP18 datasets/products).

**Qualifications**:

- Post graduate degree preferably with a focus in climate change.
- Project Management Certificate would be beneficial.
