Vodacom sponsorship portfolio is an integrated part of the Vodacom brand, brand objectives as well as commercial business objectives.

The role is accountable for the overall management of the Vodacom rugby portfolio which includes two major sponsorships, namely Vodacom Bulls and the Vodacom United Rugby Championship. This is one of the biggest rugby portfolios in South Africa.

**Your responsibilities will include**:
Development of a rugby strategy for Vodacom based on the business, brand and sponsorship objectives and development of integrated rugby campaigns both in the digital and physical world.
Rugby sponsorship digital and social media campaign management across platforms and integration of sponsorships into the overall Vodacom brand strategy.
Rugby digital and social media sponsorship media strategy, implementation and performance across all digital media types including premium display, mobile display, programmatic, advertising networks, search, influencer marketing and paid social within the rugby and sponsorship environment
Overall management of rugby sponsorship content strategy, conceptualization, planning and distribution.
Maintenance of Rugby stakeholders’ relationships

Matric Essential and
Relevant 3 Degree in Marketing / Sports Marketing degree or related qualification essential and
Minimum of 8 years relevant experience essential in the rugby industry in South Africa of which 2 years should be on management level

**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**:
Extensive digital marketing experience and knowledge
Sponsorship experience in the management of rugby specifically
Experience in conceptualization, development, management, implementation, and measurement of rugby sponsorship strategies
Successful delivery of “integrated rugby campaigns both in the digital and physical world.
Extensive, established, and current relationships within the rugby industry
