We are currently looking for a Regional Specialised Services Manager to manage specialised security services to provide integrated, quality riot/tactical/strike/events services to customers, in compliance with legislation, company policies, processes and procedures, to ensure the achievement of budgeted financial targets. To plan and execute all Specialised security services.

The Regional Specialised Services Manager will also manage logistics, including venue set-up and breakdown, registration, attendee tracking, and post event evaluations. Provide on the day of roll out to support to ensure any issues that arise are quickly handled and resolved. Oversee vendor relationships and manage procurement of materials, equipment, transportation, and catering.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Profitability against budget Manage the department’s cash flow
- Debtors’ management / reduction

- Retention and customer satisfaction ratings Quality of Service
- Quality Audit rating, correction plan in place and implemented
- Conformance with legal, company standards and requirements for tactical/riot/strike/events services
- Proposals in place and signed Shared Best Practice
- Specific examples of implementation Effective management of staff Effective Organisation
- Organisational structure staffed
- Tasks clearly defined and allocated
- Staff turnover analysis, reduction of staff turnover Staff Development
- Succession Planning in place, updated and practiced Effective management of business development function Marketing Plan
- In place and integration with division’s marketing strategy
- Adhere to the Thorburn Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Effectively and efficiently work under tight deadlines
- Manage multiple priorities utilizing strong time management and project tracking skills
- Work collaboratively with diverse, multi-location teams in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage a number of projects and initiatives simultaneously Knowledge of: South African security and events legislation | Operational Policy and procedures | HR Policy and procedures | Health and Safety legislation
**Qualifications**:
- ROIT/Tactical/Strike/Events management qualification or equivalent
- PSIRA Grade A Qualified
- SAMTRAC qualification would be preferable
- Computer proficient in MS office package
- SA Drivers Licence
- Business Firearm Competency
