Our client is looking for a Business Development Executive experienced in the fields of corporate/institutional investment management and employee benefits and umbrella funds to join its dynamic and performance driven team. As a Business Development Executive, you will be accustomed to developing and maintaining meaningful business relationships with both employee benefit intermediaries and asset consultants, as well as directly with prospective retirement funds and corporate employer groups, with a view to promoting the company’s investment management and umbrella fund services in support of its growth objectives.

Location: Johannesburg or Cape Town.

**The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to**:
***
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with employee benefit intermediaries, officers of standalone retirement funds and decision-makers of employers participating in umbrella funds.
- Presenting the broad client offering to intermediaries and prospective clients.
- Settling new clients into the organisation together with any necessary ongoing client relationship management, and liaising with internal departments to install new clients.
- Keeping up-to-date with the products and service offerings of both our client and their competitors.

**ROLE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- BCom or equivalent / relevant university degree.
- Minimum of two years’ proven experience working as a Corporate/Business Development Executive within the financial services industry.
- Client relationship management experience
- RE5
- Knowledgeable about the South African investment and retirement funds industry.

- Available to travel throughout South Africa, if based in Cape Town
