Our client, the National Lotteries Commission (NLC) seeks to employ the SENIOR IT INTEGRATION SPECIALIST on a 12 months contract. The position is tenable at their Head Office in Hatfield, Pretoria.

**PURPOSE OF THE JOB**

The incumbent of the position will be overseeing the internal systems, the development of existing systems, and overseeing the development of new systems. The incumbent will be expected to document the requirements and specifications of internal systems and the process maps both current and new.

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Systems / Business Administrator or equivalent

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE**

10 years’ experience in process mapping, functional specification development and project management.

5 years’ experience in process mapping tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and wireframing tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma).

Proven experience in project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in agile methodology.

Experience in facilitating workshops and leading cross-functional meeting

**REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS**

Decision-Making

Familiarity with IT governance frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ISO 27001).

Familiarity with Quality frameworks and standards (e.g. ISO 9001)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written, verbal communication skills and Presentation Skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships.

Must have an understanding of change management.

Must have experience in System integration.

Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics.

**KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS**

Process Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive analysis of completed TO BE processes (test if ISO compliance as well as areas of improvement and efficiency are indicated).

Receive future-state processes (To-be) from process analysis team - hand-over to Process Development Team

Functional Specification Development:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand user needs.

Interpret design and developed wireframes and mock-ups for new system functionalities or enhancements.

Ensure wireframes align with user experience (UX) best practices and industry standards prior to hand-over to Process Development Team.

Collaborate with development teams to provide clear and concise guidance during implementation.

Intern Management:
Supervise and mentor a team of interns, providing guidance and support in their assigned tasks.

Delegate tasks appropriately, ensuring interns have a well-rounded learning experience.

Review and provide feedback on their work to ensure quality and adherence to project timelines.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging growth and development.

Reporting of outputs, intern development and risks.

Project Management:
Lead and manage projects related to internal systems, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.

Develop project plans, define milestones, and track progress to ensure successful project completion.

Coordinate with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and vendors, to ensure smooth project execution.

Communicate project updates, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Operations Platform Development:
Act as the interface between the process development team and the operations platform development team to ensure the required specifications are interpretated correctly.

Identify, document, manage and communicate any Risks

Identify, document and communicate any improvements / design changes
