**The opportunity that awaits you**:
An international organisation looking to grow within the renewable energy space is expanding their team with a Business Development Executive. Our client was established more than 70 years ago and has since grown and expanded their business reach to more than 60 countries. Our client offers a culturally diverse environment in which ethics, honesty, and integrity is valued above all. They pride themselves in autonomy and will give you the necessary freedom to explore new business opportunities within other industries and countries.
**Your key responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for driving business development activities in the renewable energy infrastructure sector by cultivating relationships with local entities, ranging from blue chip companies and start-ups to government entities. You'll also be involved in the asset management of projects, as well as considering and proposing new business model fits for our client. Managing, guiding, and assisting colleagues will form part of your day-to-day activities, and occasional business travel may be required.
**Our required expertise**:
- Tertiary Qualification in Engineering
- 6 - 15 years' Project Management experience specifically in the development/construction and implementation of projects
- Experience in the Renewable Energy sector (Solar, Wind, Hydro, or Storage)
- EPC management along with renewable energy asset management
- Negotiation, reporting and presentation, conflict management and strong numerical skills
