**Job Purpose**

Rectron is a distributor that brings technology solutions to the Southern African market through a channel of resellers. In the evolution of our business, Rectron is focusing on delivering solutions through our reseller channel to end customers. A Skills Development Specialist is responsible for the Planning, Coordination, Implementation and Reporting of Learning in the organisation. They are responsible for Managing the Relationship with the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) and External Learning Providers.

- Book and Schedule Induction and Onboarding Programmes
- Book and Coordinate Resources for Enboarder Onboarding System.
- Facilitate the Business Induction, IT Induction, Health & Safety Induction and Human Capital Induction

Skills Plan Planning Process Coordinator

As an IT facilitator, you'll need to:

- develop expertise within your specialist areas - or cover any content if you choose to focus on the use of learning technologies.
- carry out training needs analysis.
- define the skill sets needed to perform different roles.
- carry out performance assessments to determine the skills gap between current and desirable learner skill levels.
- design training programmes appropriate to the skills needed.
- develop an appropriate mix of formal and informal development activities.
- ensure that the learning environment and resources support learner needs.
- design course materials and documents such as handouts, manuals, and exercises
- prepare the learning environment and resources, including setting up IT equipment where appropriate.
- deliver training programmes in person or online.
- support and coach learners using learning technologies to deliver skills.
- evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and learning outcomes.
- liaise with partners (e.g., external course providers, employers, examining bodies) to fulfil the skills needs of an organisation.
- develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking.
- maintain appropriate records of learner development and resource allocation.

Reporting
- Monitor and report on the attendance of Skills Plan Interventions
- Submit the Skills Plan Development Report Monthly and Quarterly
- Complete Executive Summary Report Monthly on Skills Development
- Monitor and Report on Implementation of the Skills Plan in line with the BBBEE Skills Development
- Capture, Consolidate and Report on Learning

Product Training Facilitation and Coordination
- Monitor and report on the attendance of Product Training Interventions
- Attend Train the Trainer sessions with business vendors and/or suppliers.
- Facilitate product training as required.
- Administer, coordinate, and capture all product training for the business.
- Submit the Product Training Report Monthly and Quarterly

Learning Administration and Coordination
- Pre
- & Post - Course Administration and Coordination
- Send out a Three-Month Learning Plan a month before the Learning Calendar commences.
- Vet External Service Providers: Accreditation and BEE Status
- Ensure all invoices are paid timeously.
- Type and Print Attendance Register for all Delegates planned to attend the Learning Intervention
- At the end of the Learning Collect Attendance Register and check if every Delegate has signed
- Update the Skills Plan with actuals for all Delegates that attended the training.
- File the Original Register in the Attendance Register File
- Reconcile all costs and sign off with Learning and Development Manager
- Request Proof of Payment from External Learning Provider and Finance
- File proof of payment electronically and manually
- Request Assessment Status Report from External Provider; follow up on learners not found competent to submit additional evidence.

Co-ordination of Learning and Development Launches, Awards and Internship and Learnership Graduations
- Coordinate the Launches of Internships, Learnerships
- Coordinate bi-annually during the Financial Year Learning and Development awards recognising all Employees that have completed Skills Programmes
- Coordinate Annual Graduations for all Employees that have completed Learnerships, Development Programmes and Internships
