Events Coordinator

**Responsibilities**:
- Create event timelines, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate all aspects of events, including catering, vendor coordination, decor, and transportation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and vendors.
- Work with clients in determining their event needs and exceeding their expectations.
- Develop and manage event budgets
- Manage any on-site issues that may arise during events.
- Ensure that all events adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with marketing and promotional materials to support event attendance and create extensive brand awareness.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- Grade 12 and / or equivalent qualification.
- A tertiary qualification in Hospitality, Marketing, or Event Management will be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A proven track record and success in event management roles
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well with a team
- Highly detail-oriented and able to multitask
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as and when required.
