Remuneration and Benefits Group Head

A listed Healthcare conglomerate seeks an experienced, analytical and innovative Remuneration and Benefits Group Head to join their finance team. Employees are working from home but require in office meetings in Johannesburg North from time to time. This role will also include travel to other countries.
**Job & Company Description**:
The Head of Remuneration and Benefits is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of various remuneration practices and benefits to ensure alignment of all entities with group practices. You will also play an advisory role to the HR team and business heads across all entities.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Act as CoE for the group HR on matters relating to remuneration and benefits
- Develop group remuneration policies in partnership with HR and executive management
- Integrate rewards with other HR process like performance and talent management
- Ensure competitive reward practices in the talent market
- Design incentive schemes
- Manage annual salary reviews
- Ensure that reward and benefits governance standards are in place across the group
- Collaborate with group heads on various remuneration initiatives
- Oversee all payroll processes across the group for accurate reporting
- Oversee job evaluation processes
- Manage payroll, remuneration and benefits teams
- Relevant remuneration and benefits administration
**Education**:
- BCom degree in Finance or Accounting or HR Management
- SARA Accreditation as Master / Chartered Reward Specialist
- Global Remuneration Professional (GRP)
- Post graduate qualification will be advantageous
**Job Experience & Skills Required**:
- 10 to 15 years’ experience in a group level remuneration and benefits management position
- 7 to 10 years' experience in managing full function payroll for Africa and international
- 10 to 11 years' experience total rewards management
- Executive level career experience is non-negotiable
- Multinational and Africa exposure is non-negotiable
- Healthcare / Pharmaceutical experience will be highly beneficial
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent reporting skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Deadline driven
