**Job Description
- The Manager Talent, Resourcing and Onboarding will work closely with Group, and with direct report to the Executive Head of Human Resources of Anglo American Platinum to make defined policies and standards come alive in the context of our strategy and operating environment.**

**To effectively fulfil this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Build and oversee all people attraction, recruitment and onboarding activities
- Build and oversee talent management and global flexibility activities, incl. education, schools and young professionals’ programmes
- Build Platinum talent pipeline from early talent to Executive level
- Drive a high value onboarding agenda to ensure new recruits are integrated and set-up for success
- Leverage Group talent processes to support mobility of talent between business unit
- Ensure agenda targeted to AAP from leveraged group alignments and align in co-ownership for design work between AAP and Group
- Building and overseeing leadership development and succession planning programs, including Superintendent leadership development
- Coordinate coaching, mentoring and graduate development programs
- Partner with Site to drive talent management and processes in operations
- Support continuous development of all HR professionals for current and future value delivery
- Work alongside business to anticipate future skills requirements to deliver AAP vision and strategy
- Partner with business and HR departments to coordinate delivery of wholistic, considered solutions
- Challenge existing processes, programs and work in the light of efficiency and effectiveness in order to contribute to a highly efficient and streamlined Resourcing and Talent division (and HR function accordingly)

**This role is based at our Johannesburg Corporate Office at a Band 5 level reporting to the Executive Head of Human Resources.**
- Qualifications
- NQF 7 Bachelor’s degree/BTech /Advanced Diploma
- NQF 8 Postgraduate qualification advantageous

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Resourcing and Talent or related experience
- Minimum of 4 years in Middle Management role
- Experience in Mining or related environment advantageous

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficient in data analysis and management for decision-making
- Proficient in business case development, quantifying value and addressing stakeholder requirements
- Advanced skills in identifying structuring, allocating, and management of work packages across the portfolio
- Proficient in project management skills
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced computer skills
