National Key Account Manager

Our client who specialises in hot foods in the retail sector is looking for an experienced National Key Account Manager.
**Minimum Requirements**
- Matric and relevant Tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5 years National Key Account Management Retail experience
- A background from the meat industry / food services industry would be advantageous
- Strong numerical skills and commercial acumen
- Strong presentation skills
- High pressured environment
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and SAP
- Must be available to travel extensively
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle
**Responsibilities**
- Regular interactions with existing customers at all levels to identify and address their specific needs. Among others, this will include Buyers and other head office contacts, Regional Managers, Operations Managers and Deli Coordinators/Specialists
- The analytical interpretation of category and regional sales data and identification of appropriate action plans to ensure the growth of all product categories and regions
- NPD project management, including liaison between stakeholders (internal teams, suppliers, customers, distributors), product cook-ups and presentations, product listings and the drafting of product specifications
- Product Costings
- Working closely with the sales team to maintain a current understanding of activity in stores
- Working closely with supply partners to maintain an up-to-date understanding of raw material prices, supply conditions and product development efforts
- Information sharing on market and competitor activity
- Implementation of focused sales and marketing activities
